Bride Had Beautiful Mission Wedding After Billionaire's Body Cleared Away

Id and Ego Babble

I'm still crude with the ruling nib and aren't too sure about line weight and shading with it. This is a good improvement over previous ruling nib attempts. And I took a bit more time; stop rushing, knucklehead. Yes, I like to rush. And I couldn't help myself from nicking the red on the cheek of the statue from the Indian story from Creepshow 2. I noticed that. And then I couldn't resist implying blood in areas after adding the red to the roof for a pop of color. Who doesn't want a bit of inferred blood on their mission sketches? Exactly. But I forgot the scalp. Not needed.

Description

I dig pen and wash type images and tried an ink and wash version of a California mission. Article is about a bludgeoned-to-death billionaire. Because it's easy to think of reasons to accidentally disperse with bad people, ala every. single. movie. with a hero that kills bad people. Also, I couldn't help my brain from connecting the statue to a scene from a movie and I wanted to nurture that connection. Scalp the scalpers!

JOLON, CALIFORNIA, December 30, 2025 (ABF Newswire) Mary Hodges didn't let a dead body stop her dream wedding at the Mission San Antonio de Padua this Tuesday.

Police have yet to find the culprit behind the bludgeoned-to-death body of a billionaire tech executive found on the steps the previous day. An account to the authorities from Padre Lopez, who spoke to the man before his demise, recounted how the deceased offered to buy out the wedding reservation and throw his own party that day.

"God doesn't let people with wealth jump the line," Padre Lopez said to reporters, "maybe He lent a hand."

Per Mary Hodges, "The staff that helped clear that body did a wonderful job. Thank you all! Best wedding ever!"

The deceased had recently made headlines when his company quietly updated its terms of service to claim perpetual rights to any photo, message, or document uploaded to its platform — including the ability to use that content to train its AI products. The update was buried in a 47-page legal document and went into effect automatically unless users opted out through a process that required navigating six separate settings screens. Most users never noticed. Their family photos, medical correspondence, and private messages were now a product being sold to the highest bidder.
